The scenario goes as follows:

The year is 2022. Lots of crazy stuff is going on currently that I won't talk about outside of the "Chat" forum just in case it's against the rules. To be specific, let's say it's June 1, 2022 because that's the start of pride month and I feel that would be thematically appropriate.

All over the world, people begin to discover that they've developed various psychic abilities such as clairvoiyance, energy healing, (very limited) precognition, pyrokinesis, telekinesis, telepathy, or xenoglossy. After a short period of initial confusion, people begin to notice a very obvious pattern. With a few seeming exceptions (I'll explain the "seeming" part later), every single person who has developed thes abilities is transgender, and every transgender person on earth seems to have manifested these talents.

I want to emphasize, before we continue, this is based on whether you are transgender, not on whether you have recieved healthcare typically associated with transgender people. Transgender people who are pre-everything, closeted, or even haven't realized/are in denial about being trans have also developed these abilities, while cisgender people who recieve similar medical treatments - including the few cis people who, sadly, will almost definitely seek out these treatments in hopes of getting psychic powers from them - do not.

With this out of the way, I would like to say I will only make a few small clarifications as to some more important/confusing aspects of how these powers work and allow the responders to extrapolate the rest. Firstly, everyone only recieves one power. If you become a telekinetic you cannot also be a precog. Secondly, being a telepath does not allow you to mind control people - it can improve your ability to manipulate them, but you cannot directly control their minds, Thirdly, precognition is the power its users have the least control over - if you're a precog you cannot control when you recieve premonitions or which premonitions you recieve. However, the precognition also has a very limited but still impressive defensive "danger sense" that is active at all times, so it's still a pretty decent power, Lastly, xenoglossy works by allowing you to learn a language in seconds just by listening to it being spoken, and if you already speak it, looking at it in its written form allows you to learn to read and write it with similar ease (this also applies to illiterate people learning to read and write their native language).

What would the ramifications of this development be?
