What do you think of 4chan

It was an "ironic" personification (known as Snacks-tan) of W.T. Snacks, a controversial 4chan janny:

W.T. Snacks was a janny on 4chan in 2004, when I was 9. While I was on the internet at the time, I wasn't tuned in to 4chan memes until I was around 11. As such, you'd have to ask a true oldfag about W.T. Snacks.

Snacks-tan still gets posted from time to time, but it has lost all of its original meaning and is now just another site mascot like Yotsuba.
oldtroon nigger

Have they even created anything after pepe in like 2015? I'm not counting soyjaks since like 90% the 4cuck staff and community fucking hated those.
It's funny you say that because Pepe and Woahjacks weren't even their own creations. Pepe was created by some weenie liberal comic book artist who hates 4cuck, he made comics with Pepe and similar looking characters in it that would've targeted the apathetic "stick it to the man" late Gen X/early Millennial crowds at the time, while Woahjacks were invented by a German and or Polish rando on Krautchan, Dolan comics were started on a SNCA Finnish imageboard, and a lot of early 4cuck culture was just transferred over from Something Awful.

The only thing they would've made at that time back in the late 2000s would've been Rage Comics and Advice Animals, and both of those things got appropriated by Plebbitors almost immediately after their inception.

Also to pour even more salt into the wound, a lot of the initial rage faces came from various different sites on the web.
NOT original 4cuck creations.
>The first known Forever Alone comic came from Funnyjunk.
>Troll Face was made by a spic on Deviantart.
>The NO. Face came from a SNCA forum (forum dedicated to cheat engines o algo)
>Me Gusta was invented on /b/ but it was drawn by an actual tranny
>The milk face came from Plebbit
>Do All The Things came from a SNCA female webcomic artist who just rambled about how her life sucks wahhh
>Y U NO came from Tumblr
>Okay Guy came from FUCKING Knowyourmeme

That's not to say they weren't influential or creative in their own right, but they definitely like to take credit for more in comparison to what they actually did.

it alright

When I first saw Pepe, I didn't really think anything of it. At one point, 4channers were freaking out that Pepe was going to be adopted by normies (someone had started up a "YA BOY MR. FROG" Twitter account), so they created a bunch of deliberately disgusting Pepe images depicting things like rape, torture, and coprophilia to repel normalfags. Ironically, however, Pepe did end up being adopted by normies - it was posted by President Trump, after all - but they were fine with it in that case, of course.

Yes. It really took off in 2008, when the "FEELS GOOD MAN" panel from Matt Furie's original comic became a viral meme on 4chan and Something Awful:

Most 4chan memes that were popular in the 2000s have long since been forgotten about. How many of these do you recognize, for example?

If you were born in the 2000s, probably not very many. It's pretty rare to see anyone posting Epic Fail Guy, The Rage Guy, Ainsley Harriott, Cockmongler, and so forth nowadays. However, there have been a handful of old 4chan memes that have managed to remain ubiquitous on the internet after many years - Pepe and Wojak are the two most obvious examples.
I recognize WT Snacks, Pedobear, Pepe, Mootcat, Troll face, /v/ guy, Do It Faggot, LOLWUT, and the "Bitches Don't Know Bout My X" meme.

Mainly because they looked like them.
I think the main reason the sharty can never be as good as /qa/ was is because there isn't a massive group of people (including the jannies) who are genuinely offended by soyjaks. The fact that 'teens would constantly interact with the people they mocked meant that there was always a massive source of inspiration that we just don't have on the sharty.

For every interesting, well typed out and thought-provoking post, there’s a thousand gay tranny ‘cord nigger babbles in contrast. (/x/ for example.)
Some of the people that post on 4cuck really are insightful and it's best to archive a good post when you come across it, because like you said, for everyone of those types of posts, there's a retard blabbering about nothing of which he thought was something, and something important enough to post on that shithole.

shit, first thing i saw when i went on /b/ for the first time was a shota thread. Doe /k/ isnt that shitty just reddity.
