Did you install Windows 10 stock or LTSC Enterprise? If you haven't, you should have a look into it. I'm fortunate enough to be in possesion of hardware old enough to run and support 7, while also running all of my stereotypically lightweight games at 1440p without breaking a sweat.so I wiped the drive and installed Windows 10 (decent but 7 WABAG)
Don't worry about the old one I still have it, it's hooked up to a T.V and is my media storage center
7 was pretty gemmy, i only dropped it when windows stopped supporting itBased Windows 7 user, I used Win7 all the way up until January of 2024 when I got my neu PC, it was running Niggerdows 11 so I wiped the drive and installed Windows 10 (decent but 7 WABAG)

(meme resolution but on the bright-side, it scales 720p well and the monitor itself is solid)

The closest equivalent to Windows 7 in the modern day is KDE running AeroThemePlasma under Arch, I tried it and despite my love for the look I cannot recommend it to anyone with half a working mind, beyond appearance it just doesn't feel nor act the same and to be frank I'd much rather baby-duck until I die then spend another day on that tranny-masquerade.7 was pretty gemmy, i only dropped it when windows stopped supporting it
10 is pretty similiar but 7 was frootiger aerTHOUGH
If you want something that supports modern hardware, security, and the bloat that will bring, you could always try something like Reloaded7. It's a Windows 10 fork that masquerades as 7 but only from a graphically, everything else is sickenly 10 and because of this it runs like shite. 10 doesn't have the necessary components to run aero, and because of this Reloaded7 relies on alternatives to get aero back, most if not all being shady chinkware.Stock win10 home, I don't feel like reinstalling my OS but I'll keep this in mind when doing shit on pcs I repair
And I wanted to run MC with 16 thrembillion mods and run steam games so win10 was something I had to get
No thank you, I'm happy with how 10 looks, if I want Windows Aero I'll just turn my chair over and boot up my old pc gegIf you want something that supports modern hardware, security, and the bloat that will bring, you could always try something like Reloaded7.
