what are your thoughts on half-life?

Solution
Half-Life is keyed in every way shape and form, the original game is actually my #1 favorite of all time and I can literally play it forever and ever, the expansions are really fun as well that expand the Black Mesa incident to a greater scale. The second game and its episodes are lesser IMO but are still 9/10s.

Valve's theme that you hear in the start of all of their games is actually just the theme from midway through Surface Tension, the longest chapter of HL1. Man the game's cinematics are still incredible today for a 20 year old game, like the tentacle in Blast Pit, the jets in Surface Tension. It's just incredible really I implore you play it; the game really set the bar for what a good singleplayer FPS is while still feeling...
In my opinion, Black Mesa and HL1 are two entirely different games that can't be compared.
What do u think @Steve?
BM is a remake of HL that follows the same plot points and structure, they always have to be compared as BM is trying to be HL.

I know they follow the same story, even down to having most of the same setpieces, but the two games just feel so different.
I think both of them are excellent games, BM clearly did best during all it's secuences in both Anomalous Materials and everything involving Xen, unfortunately the soilders are reskinned Combine troops, and the setpiece in Office Complex involving the scientist jumping out of a window was cut.

Every time I play TF2, this music pops up while showing me that one fat bald man with a wheel on his head
