Why should the child suffer death for the sins of his father? A person has one shot at living and you would take that away from a person who hasn't even taken their first breath. Imagine God knitting you in your mothers womb, ready to experience all the glory and sorrow life has to offer, just for your mother to sign her own child's death warrant. What a grim fucking prospect. Talk about a shitty childhood, how's infanticide sound? People have been born during occupation, plagues, poverty, wars, famines and guess what? They strived and survived, such is life. Who's to decide what circumstances are worse than death? You say 90% of those people would have a shitty life, what about the other 10%? Should we value human life based on how much this life enjoys their day to day existence?
