Discussion /vp/ - Pokémon

Figuring out the exact conditions to get the x-transceiver or whatever to get a response is why people don't know much about that
oh my fauci i love mechanics that are hidden behind loads of hyper-specific conditions that you won't figure out on your own without the internet or a strategy guide (remember those?)

Lots of bullshit in pokemon you need the internet to do, just finishing the pokedex is really hard only using ingame resources. It helps that by the time pokemon came out the internet already existed and by the time they came out with Pokemon G&S Serebii already existed to help you out. Its not a big problem to me because the games were clearly made with getting help in mind.

Do any of you complete the post-game in your playthroughs? I never bother. Never did the FRLG one and the Elite 4 rematch, I have only done the Gen 2 post-game up until Blue, and the Battle Frontier is just way repetitive and it takes a fuckton of effort. BW has no post game and I never completed BW2 (I always get bored by the time I reach the desert), so I don't really have an opinion on those.

This shit is so ugly and gross-looking. I hate it. Plus, it's annoying in Showdown if you don't kill it right away with Rock Slide.
