Do you have an opinion on him?
I do not know much, if anything, but I believe he had it coming to him

He was certainly the best hope for his country at the time, no matter what flaws were present. He was only taken out of power because the American state takes its orders from Tel Aviv. He was put up to a sham court, too, and then promptly executed following his capture. You know, these Jewish elite extremists have a strange history with lethal sham trials.

Do you think it was justified to start wars of aggression against Iran and Kuwait?

No, that's where the flaws come in. He was a big aggressor in the eighties and nineties, and brought his people into two wars that greatly shattered much of the former prosperity the country did have.

Sorry I was gone for a little bit. Modern day Iraq is of course far worse than it was twenty-five years ago. It's gone down into a mess of sectarian violence ever since the insurgencies kicked off after the new government was established, and even while both them and ISIS were eventually quelled, there's still some heavy political tension felt between Sunni and Shia Iraqis. In addition, U.S influence has done nothing good for either population, as our occupation only brought further violence and strife to them, and we only continued to lose soldiers while our military was amassed there. Generally, it's just gone downhill in all national senses; political, economic, cultural, every factor of life one could think of, since Saddam was hanged.
