Theorical Scenario: Universehopper/Universe traveller

You are a universehopper/Universe traveller you can travel to universes by opening up a portal to any universe using your machine you can travel to universes in 2 ways by using a game like source games as a pawn to travel to universes experiencing universes though the game and the character you control in the game and opening up a portal in your universe which is real life to another universe and maybe interacting with the other universe with objects and etc like cameras and more without going into the portal because you could get trapped and stuck

You want to travel to a universe (this universe can be any you choose) however you must stop the characters and living things from this universe from getting into your universe though your portal or if you are using a game your computer screen or screen you also must stop yourself from getting sucked in or trapped and stuck in this universe

I would probably go to/"play" the doctor who universe.
universe jumping is really rare and difficult in that show, so it's almost guaranteed that The Doctor would seek me out. He'd be a lot more knowledgeable about the situation than I am, so I'd have him help me keep the worlds from crossing over with the goal of eventually being able to freely jump universes without getting stuck.
Also, if I did get trapped, it's a fairly normal universe with occasional otherworldly tragedies.

Cross universe travel is very difficult in that universe, The Doctor would likely notice some kind of disturbance and come to investigate it, so I'd explain it to him

I guess I'd travel through the game like you said. I'd be less at risk of getting trapped in think.

the game is less risky but the problem is how would you communicate with the doctor in the game also you could get sucked in by any character in the universe

well i think the one that comes first however there are multiple universes of the half life and portal universe with different timelines and alternate timelines i think so you could theorically go to any
