why?

Keep in mind that anyone can make an account on 1337x, so if you plan on getting games, make sure you're using trusted uploaders such as FitGirl, DODI, KaOsKrew or johncena41. It's also best to avoid things like software, as it can be difficult to verify who is and who is not trustworthy.

TL;DR - Don't use 1337x for games or software, use it for things like movies and music.
