Definitely worth it if you ask me. Russian will be a very useful language in the future, or rather it already is. I mean there's an entire cultural sphere similar to the anglosphere where Russian is spoken (think of post-soviet countries), it's a beast of its own just like english or spanish is. If you intend to ever go to Russia or any of the post soviet states in central asia, you'll want to know it. Most of those Turkic countries are culturally closer to Russia than they are to Turkey too, which is kinda ironic.
