>create standardized test to make college admissions more fair
>poors, browns, and women do poorly on the exam
>could it be that poors, browns, and foids are lazy and retarded?
>no, the test must be unfair somehow! We need affirmative action to make college admissions more fair

I wish standardized testing was more influential in modern American academia, it’s so goated
>more fair and based on skill than literally anything else
>efficient
>no nigger waste of time homework

Can you drop out of high school and still get into a t10 university via extracurricular + standardized tests to prove competency? I bet you could. I should have done that, instead of wasted so much time niggering around in niggerhell (high school)

>evendoe standarized testing leads to perverse incentives to make sure the children remember the factoids with no real-world usecase over everything else because we said so okay, instead of focusing on teaching actual content
>evendoe standardized testing isn't a measure of actual intelligence critical thinking skills but a measure of how well you can remember and regurgitate shit (i have good memory therefore teachers fawned over me for pulling their school averages up)

did i seriously need to "learn" the fucking water cycle ten times over in grade school like i had fucking dementia because it was on the state's test? letting idiot congressman choose whats important for the 6th grader to learn here while important life skills shit like how to not run up $80,000 in consumer debt and how to not fall for political propaganda gets neglected... goddamn idiot factory

>factoids with no real world value

They have value if you get a job that requires them (like being an engineer or a scientist). If you aren’t getting such a job why are you going to college at all?

>standardized testing isn't a measure of actual intelligence critical thinking skills but a measure of how well you can remember and regurgitate shit

Both are important, you need good memory to be helpful in the aforementioned fields
Also depending on the test it can kinda test both to a limited extent. It’s not perfect but there is no better alternative. GPA (from nonstandardized exams and homework) is a million times worse at this shit

>did i seriously need to "learn" the fucking water cycle ten times over in grade school like i had fucking dementia because it was on the state's test?

You only needed to do that because the school system is retarded. It’s not the standardized testing at fault here, but the school. The SAT and AP’s do not require you to “re learn” material, just learn it once and take the test once

>how to not run up $80,000 in consumer debt and how to not fall for political propaganda

That’s not the type of stuff what should be taught in school, it’s simple as shit and you should learn it on your own. In fact you don’t need to go out of your way to learn it, just exist and if your not a complete retard you will understand it

Would you rather your teacher chose? Because you’ll be hard pressed to find a teacher that isn’t both retarded and evil.
Also a private company controls the SAT and AP’s. Which also happen to be the GOATs of standardized testing. What a coincidence…

Abolish public high schools and replace it with standardized tests

They have value if you get a job that requires them (like being an engineer or a scientist). If you aren’t getting such a job why are you going to college at all?
and... what about all the jobs that don't require them? what if i want to be a pig farmer? a welder? a fast food franchise owner? manufacturing lawnmowers? literally none of these require you to remember that the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell or whatever, and infact the jobs that do require you to remember that, general public school education is not going to be enough and you learn allthat in college courses anyway, so whats the point then?
besides, the idea that EVERYONE has to be an engineer or scientist set bad precedents for the job market. not everyone is cut out for jobs that require genuine critical thinking and a desire to explore (most amerimutts dont have those), and the idea that 100% of people have to get "good" jobs is preposterous. this rhetoric has led to stem degrees being massively overproduced compared to demand, so now if you get a stem degree (ESPECIALLY computer science and environmental science degrees, the 2 most overhyped and oversaturated degrees around) goodness gracious you're gonna have a terrible time finding a job in an oversaturated market.
Both are important, you need good memory to be helpful in the aforementioned fields
trve, but being able to memorize about my special interest and being able to shit out an essay with all the big words doesn't necessarily mean im going to be a smart person. there need to be ways to verify for both skills at least.

hm? it may be simple to you, it may be simple to me, but how come so many people in this world are mouthbreathing idiots that willingly give advertisers on facebook all their life details so they can get scammed for ai-generated crap products, fall for multi-level marketing schemes, believe that hard work somehow means they'll be a billionaire in 2 more weeks and not just end up with more work, believe self-worth is determined by whether you're following the latest astroturfed "luxury" scam craze, get into consumer debt and then blame the exactly 10 troons in women's sports for it, believe that everything is fine because they audited themselves and found nothing wrong, and believe blatant lies on the idiot box because they only know a filter bubble?
hm? some people are just natural-born retards (see: special ed classes), but most people don't bother to learn outside what they've been told, so you might as well teach them to do just that instead of by design of the system equating learning = le bad.
the whole point of school is to teach people things?? if they're not going to learn it on their own, you might as well force them to learn basic finance and basic methods to detect bullshit. people can learn to not be retarded, we just have to teach them to not be sheep brainwashed creatures.

Would you rather your teacher chose? Because you’ll be hard pressed to find a teacher that isn’t both retarded and evil.
i'd rather the teacher choose than someone who has never worked in education in the state tbh. you must understand, teachers act retarded and evil because they aren't paid enough for this shit and they're treated like disposable asswipes by the government who would rather give infinite money to billionaires than fund education. i have a dad who worked public high school for some months and can confirm that nobody lasts more than a few months teaching, so i can confirm all this second hand. most behavior from teachers can just be summed to, they're overworked, stressed, and getting paid less than a walmart door greeter to deal with america's finest lead-infused niggers all day long. oh, and the state puts ridiculous requirements on them scuh as having to pass every single child regardless if they did any of the work. oh whats that, the student did nothing but smoke crack all day in school? clearly its because you didn't develop a relationship with them in a class of 40 other needy niglets.

!!!
profiting off of something you're required to take to get into public colleges?? this seems inherently exploitative.
suddenly this reminds me, after the first free standardized test you take paid for by the school you CAN retake the ACT and SAT, but it costs $70 to take it. if they gave it for free at all. and there is such thing as superscoring, you take the test multiple times, you'll score higher and lower on some but you can put your highest sections to combine it into one high score.
in which case, is this not inherently unfair that rich fucks can stuff the test multiple times until they get their desired score (and then bribe the harvard jannies to let their shitassed kid get in via the swim team)? would this not mean the ACT/SAT is not a reliable indicator of intelligence, if its only a metric of how much time you're willing to spend grinding factoids on anki instead of working a dayjob or caring for your own needs, and how much you're willing to blow on retesting?

This is less a critique of standardized testing a more a critique of the education system format in general

Problem with forcing them is that you’ll be forcing me too. I shouldn’t be forced to waste time doing niggershit because retarded niggers exist.

>muh profiting… le bad!
Your right, let’s get rid of food companies too since food is required to live and making money off important things is le bad. We should have the government control our food supply entirely, I’m sure they won’t do a horrible and inefficient job at it (which goes back to my point that SAT’s and AP’s are the gold standard of standardized testing, and also happen to be operated by a private company, which unlike the government is competent enough to make half decent exams)

>rich people can take it multiple times
If your that fucking poor you can probably get a waiver
Also retaking it isn’t as beneficial as you make it out to be, and will generally only increase it by less than a hundred points unless you really fuck up the first exam
Again, you say it’s not a good measure of intelligence. You mean to say it’s not perfect. It’s definitely a way better measure of intelligence than any other option that exists besides a fucking iq test, which they can’t do because the kikes will get mad because discrimination or eugenics or whatever.
Also the stuff on the SAT isn’t “factoids”, it’s very basic maths and English and if you don’t know such simple material you shouldn’t be going to college

And you say it’s not fair enough because rich people can retake it. Which I mean it would probably be better if you could only take it once.
However even in the current state it is still fairer than almost anything else used in college admissions. GPA depends on your high school and nigger teachers, and extracurriculars like research and shit will be much easier if your family has connections

Its crazy that in 2025 going to high school is still the norm
You would think that by now the educational infrastructure would be based primarily on standardized testing
I blame niggers

AP exams are are probably the best thing in the American Education system

The credits it’s given me has saved me from an extra year of university

There is a third option: College Board chooses. They listen to the retarded teachers, the colleges, and others in order to filter out the retarded shit the teachers come up with and create a good exam

>teachers act retarded and evil because they aren't paid enough for this shit and they're treated like disposable asswipes by the government who would rather give infinite money to billionaires than fund education

They should be paid negative money. They should pay the schools for the privilege of torturing their students, which is all they are good for
Also the government already funds education a ton. What has that given us? Public high schools. Delete public high schools and replace it with standardized testing
Get the government out of here, everything they touch they make worse

Most university classes shouldn’t exist either, they should be replaced with standardized testing. If I can take AP chemistry instead of Intro Chem classes, why can’t I take an AP Organic Chem exam instead of Organic Chemistry classes?
College board do this now

My nigger university has a retarded 100 credit on campus requirement
And a lot of humanities requirements. Fucking kikes! How will your humanities courses make me a better engineer or scientist? All they will do is waste my time and rot my brain

It’s hard to find something in the modern education system (besides exams) that aren’t retarded and Jewish
