Well, most of them seemingly aren't as short as the South Asians, like the little teeny Nepali folk, for example. In fact, I think the shortest guy ever recorded was from Nepal. The world's shortest lady was also from that part of the world, but I forget where exactly she lived. I wonder what it is with that area of the continent specifically, of South Asia, and having short people. It can't be the environment because the mountain people of Nepal are shown to be just as short as the tribals in Papua. Maybe this is why guerilla warfare is so commonplace in countries like Nepal with its Maoist militants, or Papua with its jungle dwellers who are fighting against the Indonesians in the western part of the island, or, of course, Vietnam with its Vietcong soldiers; they're good at hiding because they're so short.
