Autism /Rage/ Comic General Thread

i like what you said about soyjaks being a more free medium of expression. you could sorta say that soyjaks are like dolls you can play with. thats the fun of them and the reason why its not a "dead meme".
Well it's kind of hard to concise 'jaks in my opinion since they're so versatile and have been used in so many different ways, you could talk about one way in which a 'jak could be used for, for like five minutes.
They've lasted so long because they've evolved on their own terms, in their own course, rather than evolving with the rest of the memes around them, hence the soyosphere.
perhaps maybe the reason why we dont use rage comics anymore is because we don't blog anymore. i dont think itd have been possible for rage comics to thrive if it had started in later years for this reason.
Personal blogs died because people can use sites like Xitter to blog post on, why relay a funny story that happened in your life through the medium of rage comics when you can instead soypost onto Faceberg, Xitter, etc instead?
I think another reason why they would've have been able to exist post-2015 is just because of how much memes changed, again, rage comics reflect a specific era online, a greater short-lived mentality and attitude that doesn't exist anymore online, it would be inconceivable for rage comics to exist at the same time as like deep-fried memes because they're entirely separate.

anyways see ya
See you around
