In my honest opinion it has less to do with "westernized islam" and more about your parents oversight, not trying to be offensive, but the fact that you had unrestricted access to electronics and platforms like discord when you were 11 years old says a lot, this would have never happened if you werent gives access to these things at such young age, children can be easily manipulated

yea thats one part of it, though in jordan the chances of that wouldve been reduced significantly especially when theres multiple site blocks in jordan and carelessness isnt promoted there like in the us
