Nioh Sasaki Kojiro boss battle

This guy beat my ass a few times, he's a bit slippery and dodges backwards all the time, so it's difficult to pressure him.

The last main Mission of the DLC has 4 boss fights, two are reused ones and the other two are new:

The Cutscenes are longer than the fights. Nioh definitely had a balancing problem, with magic, ninjutsu and Living Weapon you could make boss fights trivially easy (which is exactly what I did here, I basically face tanked during the entire fight, ridiculous). Conversely, if you didn't use these tools you were practically guaranteed to get your ass beat. Nioh 2 fixed most of these issues and definitely made the game more skill focused. Combine that with less retarded boss movesets and I enjoyed Nioh 2 a lot more than its predecessor. Though I feel the story of Nioh is a lot more coherent than the story of Nioh 2. Also helps that the MC is an actual Character (as sparse as the few words he says are) rather than some random ass mute that trannies self-insert as.

Nioh 2 Nue Boss fight

This guy is actually a returning boss from the first Nioh, but I don't mind it as much since they just put him into a side mission and made him a miniboss in a later main mission.

Now this fight, this fight is good. It's very good. In fact, I'd even say it's on of the best boss fights in the whole character action genre.
