Yes, with copious amounts of references and trial and error. I'm somewhat crafty in that regard, I find clutches where I lack in artistic sense. For example, I used blender to get the right perspective for the table and the things on it.
Unless you're referring to the schoolocaust game, in which case I didn't, I had a draftsman for that one.
