The way in which it's all in your face obscures your features, so I'd guess it makes you look less masculine outwardly. You could try styling it back and to the sides of your head, instead (similar to how Beethoven styled his, if you'd like an example for your hair length). The texture of my hair and yours is, of course, different, but I always brush mine backwards, parting it slightly upon my left, and then it naturally flops downward to the sides of my head, without going upon my forehead or face. My belief is that a style like this better defines and expresses the face’s features, so people look better when their hair is outside of their face instead of within it. Picture related of my hairstyle to get an idea of the concept; I’ve of course censored my own face but you can see what I mean with the difference of styling it to the sides and back of the head instead of letting it fall in your face. It naturally curves over the head instead of falling in front of it, acting like a portrait to the face.
