I am concerned that NT is the type of person to spontaneously kill himself because he has access to a gun. A lot of men are like that if they have a gun, but if they don't have one then they don't die.

And the funny thing is that my father has a 9mm in a safe (i know the code) along with live ammo. I'm not going to kill myself or hurt anyone. Wild pigs? That sounds fun though

Now you see the issue. If I could go back in time and prevent the second amendment from being created, I probably would.
But that was hundreds of years ago and you can't do shit about it now. There are more guns than people in a country with a population of over 350 million. Banning guns entirely simply won't work. We have to deal with them.

I don't really think I have anything against guns. I just don't think people like you should have one.

You would be a horrible lawmaker then. You don't know who I am and I don't know who you are. I have met the requirements for being able to purchase a firearm, and you can't do anything about it.
I don't know why you think I'm going to shoot myself or (God forbid) other people. If you could point me to a post where I implied I'd do that, I would be grateful.
 
Like I think only normal people should have guns. I probably shouldn't have one, not that I'd be interested. Nobody here should.

Good thing the US government prevents people who have been committed to a mental institution by a court order from purchasing firearms.

I'm not a woman and you don't need a gun to defend yourself. I'm 21 and I've never had anyone kick my door or anything.
