Following the X-Factor storyline, Sir Charles Lynton, Chairman of The Consortium Inc. started showing an interest in Gio Scotti. After both Dr Willa Wanda and Michelle Pfeiffer had filed reports suggesting that WWYD5 had an unusually large number of nominees who are not famous and simply "OnlyFans stars", Commissioner William Regal ordered Special Investigator Robert Mruczek to complete an audit on all nominees for evidence of OnlyFans accounts and of their overall fame. Mruczek found that several of the scheduled contestants did not meet the threshold including Gio Scotti who was flagged as a "TikTok star". Regal announced that these contestants would be barred from entering WWYD to maintain standards and that a new "No e-Thots" regulation would be added to the official rules. When Scotti's name was among those excluded from WWYD, Sir Lynton intervened using an objection by a fan as a pretext under new "governance and oversight" rules which the WWYD Franchise must now follow since The Consortium Takeover. Lynton then secretly invited Michelle Pfeiffer to his office and tried to persuade her to induct Scotti into The Pantheon, when she objected, Lynton persisted and instead got Pfeiffer to agree to take Scotti under her wing in the WWYD Locker Room. As part of the deal, Pfeiffer wanted Lynton to ensure that life in WWYD was "made difficult" for Scarlett Johansson, presumably because she had double-crossed The Pantheon in joining Liz Hurley to form GTFO. It is not yet clear where these developments will lead. In the event, Scotti lost to Johansson in Round 1 of WWYD5 and was later barred from Queen's Cup V after Dr Wanda discovered she is possibly under-16. By this time, it seemed Lynton had moved on and set his sights on capitalizing on the popularity of Penny Morduant at the coronation of King Charles III, however she also lost in Round 1 of WWYD5.
