I don't like people leaving mean things about me on my post. It's MY post and I should be able to delete it same way I delete mean comments on my profile.

That's the problem with Jimbo. He always feeds the trolls, that's why everyone makes fun of him and it's so worthwhile.
If someone calls him brown, he can't just ignore or go along with the joke, he has to reply: >no, I'm whiter than you disgusting slob every single time, which causes the person to continue baiting him and the thread getting derailed.
Even when if he doesn't reply, he will react to your post with "discord" or "false" which proves he's bothered by it, and your bait worked.

@baqqrih I think this is a compelling reason to remove his ability to react to posts, he uses it to fall for bait and it incentivizes threads to derail. Maybe if he loses his most immediate stimulus to have a negative reaction it can help ease his addiction to this site.

Don't remove Jimbo's ability to react. He is a user of this site, he has a right to react, post messages and edit his profile like all of us. If he derails, that is not the fault of the fundamental functions of the site, it is his fault and he should be the one receiving punishment.

There's no simple solution to the jimbo problem. Even if you have him ignored, he still is able to derail threads, which will still affect your experience in the site regardless.
