the movie to me was just pretty okay, i found shadows voice to be alright, i think it really only works in action scenes and when he is all angry fighting and such. its quite evident because the movie has all of these little scenes with him an maria and they're flashbacks. i'd say the worst part of the movie has to be jim carrey as eggman and gerald, i know he's supposed to be a comedian but since he plays both of them its really just a mixed bag. they even do this stupid joke when they first meet breaking the fourth wall that they are played by the same fucking actor, its just too much from the last 2 movies. the references were alright, sonic says the "talk about low budget flights" line when he jumps out of a gun plane about to fight shadow, and shadow has his bike and wields a gun. also the fucking humor in this movie is hard for me to sit though, i know that it is a kids movie but i didn't really like it, sonic calls shadow hot topic at one point, i'm not even joking here. the ending was eh for me, shadow and sonic kinda just talk it out after fighting in their super forms, then they go destroy the space colony arc thing, and yeah an arrangement of live and learn does play during this, and it also results in shadow, eggman, and gerald all dying too. overall its an average movie
