I tried many times on the party to find ways to preserve the oldfag culture whether it be through direct changes or otherwise (loosening the rules, creating /jak/, promoting IAS content, contests, the current dailyjak, featuring IAS content on the booru, reverting back to yotsoyba b, FNAC, etc) but the community has moved on or been replaced by people who prefer doxing and raiding twitch streams over creating funny jaks. There are still some creative types ( @Rot , @Swede , Chudvaggio, etc.) but it is a difficult battle to win especially on the party.

i know we should always promote OC and creative ventures the most, but besides that what kind of culture should we begin fostering, how would we direct the site to adopt things, should we even steer the site or let the in place userbase evolve, is it even worth it to come up with a plan knowing people might leave? i really liked the unique old shartee, it wasnt serious and always made fun of itself, but now it feels like here theres a stick up your ass and on the shartee its mad max.

I'm always open to feedback and suggestions. I prefer not to fuck with things as much as possible since janny always make coal decisions and sites should be driven by the people using the site the most.

you're right about the boards basically being paper thin walls to /soy/, however there is a general culture still accustomed to the shartee. If you go to soyjak party, you're there for /soy/ and soyjaks, not any other board, so its going to be a filter from the people to come from soy to the other boards, unlike 4chan where its a hub for several boards. i think froot shakes up the sharty too much doe and has artifical culture added for mah lols (jiren is not funny, 1001 boards in soyrabia is not intresting) . i liked how kuz only fucked with the site when the site itself found something to be excited about.
