sometimes i spread 3 beers throughout 3 days to last me longer and so i dont go batshit

uh i dont know honestly like Its fun and I feel more level headed
I had an issue with this once doe like a year ago where i drank every day for 2-3 weeks straight and got shitfaced every single time had the worst time afterward so i picked up smoking to calm myself, then i started taking my anxiety meds and stopped smoking, then i stopped taking my meds recently picked up smoking again, then i wanted to quit smoking and the only way i could do it is with drinking

Is drinking alcohol at least once a week alcoholism? My friends implied it once but i didnt take into account. Im pretty certain that if i quit drinking i will lose lots of weight which would be good, but i feel uneasy about the thought of quitting. Is this normal? Should I just work out more?

No, because that implies one has self control, an alcoholic doesn't have self control and drinks on a whim, hence addiction.
