I don't know, I always feel like every single mainstream site is built to fit our preferences perfectly, especially politcally (yes I know they use pitch-perfect algorithms), only showing you content that you agree with, keeping you in this one-man echo-chamber circlejerk that's indefinite
Am I a schizo or I am right? Who's behind this? Who wants to seperate us? Is recent political separation caused by social media? Am I going insane???

At this point, they don't really have to do anything.
The internet is already full of retards spouting bullshit and other retards eating it up as fact. You'd just have to run a bot with your opinion for one day and by the end of the week it will become reality to thousands.
Reddit is probably the worst. The posts you see are decided by upvotes, and the people sitting there scrolling through a comment section are mostly not well-adjusted people. Well adjusted people don't use the internet enough to shift discussion

You just need to reflect. Think about the things you like/believe in and ask why.
It's hard to even do that, since you often don't think that you might be wrong if you believe in something strongly.
