Not implying that it's bad, but I watched it before it blew up with autists and thought "huh, that was an interesting movie" and moved on.
Years later, everyone and their sister is talking about it on YouTube like it's the apex of thriller movies.
My opinion: if it had music it would be mostly forgotten by now.

Honestly, I don't think it's anything that special. I thought it was good, but nothing to write home about.

I really disliked the book though. Main character is also a pedo, so there's that.
