Autism is it me or have youtube ads become unbearable

I remember making my first account on YouTube in 2005, when I was 10 (and yes, that account is still up). At the time, it was a brand new site and it was mostly old music videos and old TV shows that people had uploaded. YouTube quickly became the fastest-growing site in internet history and, when Google's competitor Google Video flopped, Google decided to just buy YouTube instead. That, of course, started a long process of YouTube gradually becoming shittier and shittier with each passing year. In a few years, YouTube will be mostly AI-generated gigaslop with EPI thumbnails and multiple ads randomly inserted into each video. And the worst thing is that that really won't be much different than what YouTube currently is anyways.
 
I do have an adblocker on my copy of Google Chrome I mainly use, but the fact is that YouTube doesn't seem to like adblockers anymore, youtube just still appears with ads when it tries to utulize it, they just want the money, so that is why some people call it "JewTube" 😅
 
having to watch 30 seconds of ads on a 10 minute video is enough to make me barf. no, i'm not interested in the chinky goom dung bok flip-flop smack flat face fishbone sucking rice principle nanking rape cherry blossom seppuku atomic bomb squat toilet cup noodle massage parlor handjob 2025 nissan armada with rice aesthetics and rice culture.
 
i haven't seen one in over a year with using an ad blocker and freetube

FreeTube or uBlock, if they ban your IP just wait a day for the ban to pass and clear your cookies.
 
one reload as soon as you see an ad or if you notice an ad might be loading and reload kills ads for a while does the trick on mobile
 
on my phone they load faster than the video itself and it pisses me off
