Is homestuck good

I read up until pages 4k-4.5k. Honestly Its very confusing at first, later you kinda start to understand and it does become somewhat interesting. So it is very much an acquired taste (at least for me at the time) Dialogues are very long and sometimes you just end up skipping them to progress reading (me and people ik did this). Closer to where the dancestors get introduced stuff gets either too difficult, too boring or simply fails to hold your attention for long.
I dont really like the fandom. Its a huge aspect of homestuck since you just kind of end up searching for additional information (bcs of the confusion) But since you end up making theories and speculations and personal relationships between the characters and identities are a big part of homestuck and its story you end up with everyone making headcannons and shipping characters. There are canon relationships and iirc most of them are LGBT.
I dont know if i regret reading, but i for sure wouldnt do it again knowing what i know now - i went in blind when i did. Aside from the confusing story - the videos (animation and cutscenes) and minigames and music in the webcomic have to be the best aspect and those things would be the only reasons i could recommend reading hs. But if you do be warned you probably will fixate on it for a while like 99.9% of the readers.

@Chesnaught i would’ve posted on sharty since they like trolling more but I’m banned plus it’s funny I was just scrolling and tiktok forces you to see a live once in a while and I heard screaming from it and then started watching

Oh, no, I wasn't neutraling at you. I just loathe politislop. It's noise, I hate it. There's absolutely zero substance to be found from these rightoid and leftoid idiots who either circlejerk among themselves or scream at the guy they don't agree with. It feels like it's engineered to be as infuriating to listen to as possible. I would rather listen to an hour of awful troon hyperpoop music than have to sit through a Trump-glazing podcast where they just pretend like he's actually going to do anything at all, all while praising Israel and promoting whatever new garbage they're being sponsored by.
