I hate my extended family unironically, I mean a lot of them are cool and nice people but I just don't know them. But there's also some weirdos, a few are Mormons and meth addicts.

I just realized there's less than 10 days to go and I don't feel excited or joyful at all. Growing up it was a very magical time of the year for me (even if it doesn't snow where I live), now it's all just faded away for the most part Even my mother commented about it yesterday, she said she's concerned because I don't seem to care.

Late teen/early adult christmas are the worse doe i think it gets better from there. Kinda wish i had waited a bit longer b4 going sober its gonna fucking suck every other guy my age at the family partys is gonna get hammered because yk they are hitting 18 and im just gonna have to not act like im a drug addict craving death lol

Capitalism didn’t kill Christmas
If anything it’s the only thing keeping it alive. Imagine no lights, presents, and other materialistic shit during Christmas.
Most people would just stop celebrating it. And the few that do won’t take it as seriously or be as excited for it. Most people don’t treat Christmas as a religious holiday anymore.
There’s a reason atheists celebrate Christmas and it’s not Jesus
