Well yes, because even if people had these thoughts, feelings or desires you didn't go about talking about it publicly, you kept them to yourself especially in the fact that you had no one to really to talk about that kinda thing, though developing childhood crushes on fictional drawn characters is a relatively normal but innocent phenomenon. But being over 12 and being attached to these drawings in a now SEXUAL sort of way is really freaky-deaky.
Because the only real people who were like this were the people who were drawing these characters, whether it be Jessica Rabbit or [insert 90s human/anthromorphic sexualized design that indoctrinated a whole generation of kids] in a sense it's almost like a fetish.
But now with the internet people can talk about this and circlejerk each other as though these are normal behaviors, and now you have people who aren't in the animation industry, just random people who learned to pick up a pencil who can now please the crowd of degenerates with these sexualized doodles, adding fuel to the flames.
Also unlike real people, you can make the proportions as ludicrous as you want them to be, you can make it look as fucked as possible and people will still fap to it because their brains have been fried from consuming too much porn that they need a higher level, a higher dose of the stuff.
