I feel like dirt, my anti-depression medicine isn't working.
you fellers got any ideas?

>Run, exercise, go outside, socialise, take meds, jewish therapy, live healthy.
You have already heard such advice millions of times, and it does work because they are simple, biological truths. But in humans, it isn't so simple as academic theory; if that was the case, depression and misery wouldn't be things. You may end up pursuing it and end up feeling better than before, but it really is temporary, just a release of some chemicals in your brain. You won't end up getting a long-term satisfaction that leaves your soul warm; the same rut, nihilism, and hopelessness remain.

What about talking to people and therapy? The truth is, people don't care about your problems, and therapy is paying someone to pretend to care about your problems. Plus, if you talk to a therapist, what is the therapist going to tell you? Obvious advice you have already heard, and some goypills for your brain to get fucked up on so you don't think. Therapy and talking to people are just band-aids; the therapist will never tell you about life's ultimate meaning and what happens after death. They are a business industry that saw society getting more and more miserable and saw demand/potential for good money. But talking to people that you know in real life, is much better than paying money to someone pretending to care but, the people close around you have their own lives, a person can never look from your perspective and understand you 100%, and in some cases, telling people about your problem makes you sound weak and whiny even if the person pretends that its "brave to open up". Just look at how people are in this thread, I know that its over exaggerated and these people don't know you personally, but in the internet we are allowed to be truthful. People have their own problems and don't give a fuck.

I don't know why you are depressed, but I can guess 2 reasons: you have a problem in your life that's eating away at you, or you just think about how meaningless it really is. You will end up dead one day, and the universe will end one day, no matter what you do. Nothing matters. Maybe a combination of both.

Confront your problem head-on without the niceness bullraisin that zog promotes for therapy shekels, just confront it and try to beat the problem. Even if you fail, you enjoy the process of trying instead of escaping and hiding, which gives anxiety. Convert to Christianity, believing in pure materialism(belief only in chemicals and probabilities dictating the universe/randomness) is a sure way to feel meaningless and depressed. Scientifically, nothing is meaningful, meaning isn't even a thing, our universe will freeze, and all life will die one day.
So you believe in Christianity, and Christianity is real, and you get to spend eternity in heaven, which is a win. But IF Christianity were fake, and there is no afterlife, you would have lived with an idea of purpose, meaning and a strong belief that you will end up in a better place with a loving, all-powerful God supporting you endlessly. You live with a strong set of morals that guides you in life; the set of morals never changes and is always there. There is genuinely good advice in the Bible that makes life better and makes you a better person.
Have a giant ambition in life, the human mind flourishes when pursuing a goal that will satisfy all your needs and solve all of your problems, such as financial freedom. You will be so happy, and the feeling of goodness will be there if you create. Expressing yourself through creations is lovely. Working and trying to accomplish something in life is a must if you want to feel good. There are endless videos on YouTube teaching programming, various skills and business. We live in a time where we can learn anything, literally anything by a simple search. There is no excuse to not have ambitions in life

tldr ; Convential advice you always hear wont work, will only make you feel better temporarily. Confront your problems, convert to Christianity and have a giant ambition in life and pursue it.

Why are you depressed?

If you have no good reason, then just dont be depressed. If you have a good reason, then it's not depression.
Maybe get some lemons and drink some lemon water every other day or so. A vitamin deficiency can cause depression/suicidal thoughts, and lemon water can replenish vitamins and electrolytes.
Depression isn’t real, Unless You‘re mourning Der Fühere’s death.
