The reason why troons obsess over those emoticons is because it reminds them of "early internet". Troons hate to admit it, but they envy the times before social isolation, political radicalisation, porn addiction, the coof, and all the other ills of the modern day, and they fetishise the earlier generations, up to around 1950's (contrary to popular belief, troons aren't that interested in things before the 1890's. And the era between the 1890's and the 1950's, they conflate into one big "monochrome T.V." era).
Contrast this with Skibidi Toilet, a great ARYAN masterpiece, forged on the Russian internet, a part of the internet stuck in the past (in all the good ways). Skibidi toilet is not copying trannycore. Rather, trannycore is copying skibidi toilet. They envy skibidi toilet, and the way it has that awesome atmosphere, free of poolitics or feminism, like the good old days. The troons seek to replicate the shallow appearance of old internet, without actually admitting that the reason why old internet was gemmy was because it had fewer troons. But skibidi toilet is not afraid to admit that, making it an aryan gem, BECAUSE of those smiley faces.
