Chud I never pick female characters in games

I don't either. When I play RPGs, I try to make my character as much of a blank slate as possible at the start of the game. In my mind, male is the default gender. I feel like the whole "grow a backstory and personality as you go" thing can only be done with men.
Also I stopped naming my characters after myself pretty recently. My default alias is just "Agent" most of the time, got that name from playing Forza.

honestly people who make a big stink out of not playing a female character are weirder than those who play them exclusively
Playing as the opposite gender should be something that’s vehemently called out. That’s not weird at all.

I played as female Shepard in Mass Effect 2 to exclusively romance Jacob.

i don’t play games with humans in them but when i do and if there’s customization i make him look like me
