Why is their saliva unclean and what is meant by unclean.

Unclean as in dirty, "impure", the same way pigs eat and roll in the mud, dogs' saliva is considered the same because they eat and lick pretty much anything and also probably the bacteria in the saliva

Is this not true for basically any animal? Do people seriously let a cat do this/touch any animal without washing their hands after? No wonder people get sick so damn often.

i mean that is true, for an aquarium to be natural it would have no filtration whatsoever and would be self-sustaining, for this to happen you would need a giant ass lake filled with plants or a mini little aquarium the size of a bowl filled with plants, it’s extremely hard in between
