i thought it was the opposite??? because last time i checked any non-soysphere altchans, the ONLY discussions were about "waaaaaahhhh im saddd old media and old imageboards better why can't it be le heccin' 2008 and i'se be 12 again juuuuust like the anime girls i goon to" and "vghhhh 2 more weeks and the deep state gets exposed" and everything else had its last reply 2 months ago. then again, its been a hot half a decade since i was looking at any altchans with serious intent. the altcuck sphere has changed since then, but i haven't bothered to look no longer for the supposedly good ones.
meanwhile everyone seems more relaxed on the soysphere i guess??, i suppose people countrywarring and endless bickering over which color of penis is more "keyed aryan hyperborean" is a fair price to pay for spontaneity and PPH, and i've have many many civil conversations on the sharty because theres no diaper-wearing janny that will ban me for having an opinion right of communism.

umm, i think thats the exact problem with "other imageboards..." 4cuck larpers desperately holding onto the past and what little youth they have will deride any attempt to make any fresh creations, and instead of waiting for anything to organically (or forceganically, all memes start out as forced or however the cookies crumble) grow, they will instead whine manbaby tears and send the full force of their imageboard mod to ban you for "self insert" or "pepe/wojack memes" or "shitposting" or whateverhaveyou reason to maintain status quo and keep everything one big circlejerk. nothing is made. nothing is gained. the bubble is unpopped.

I made this thread because nusharty looks pretty horrendous to me but could use some other imageboardfags as invitation of immigrants for better intelligence, essaywriting, thinking about making memes back in 2023 or 2022.

Only reason i think of is culture being empty. Schlog or the sharty has it's culture, 4chan's /a/ has it's culture such as /dbs/ memeing & statler and waldorf puns.

Looks like my sharty experience. I tried to post some "automated response" or stock imageposting/scp posting in the sharty. Apparantly the shartyfags are not very good at innovating and i'm some sperg trying to force some NAS type of memes to keep the sharty fresh by spamming nonsense. The userbase hasn't noticed my memes and since then dissappointed me due to not trying to adopt my memes into their sharty culture. I was the 0.001 percent of that unique part of the sharty's userbase but sharty fells bleak to me due to the adminstration banning soyjaks & encouraging female character NAS wannabe culture.

well last i remembered before ending up with the shardee, i was checking 8chan (post-christchurch, im not THAT much of an oldhead. all i saw was the qanon schizos well schizoing out, the diaper fetish board having the most pph, and everything else being fossilized with broken images), mootxico (exactly as i describe of its only content being oldtroon circlejerkage), lainchan, endchan, 420chan, (been a while since i checked these, but my last memory is that they seemed snail-mail slow and the threads that weren't like that were either politics i didn't care about or some other form of whining/pornography) and a bunch of other altchans that followed a standard *chan format (all of which were either dead, porn-obsessed, or oldtroon circlejerks. gawdammint. pre-2021 but after 2018 was not a good time to be an altcuck imo). and i remember doing raids on some of the freshly minted altchans i saw, and its a lot of the same flavor of circlejerk (that, or a /r9k/ clone, or some other 4cuck board clone, or porn...
i will be transparent, maybe i have confirmation bias here. i don't exactly seek out new 'boards after being burnt when i was a tween trying to find cool new sites. only non-soysphere altchan i can even claim to use is dvach, but thats just in many ways identical to 4cuck but with drunk (but funny) gooner russians instead. i'm sure the other non-english ESLchans are alright, but i don't speak their languages so it doesn't seem smooth to use them.

not everything is going to have organic appeal to the userbase, and you sound almost entitled here by trying to imply they should adopt your current gimmick as the hot new thing. it takes being able to be funny with it and being consistent in posting it. you must also understand that there are certain demands for posting styles that the sharty would want, and being able to successfully integrate it into sharty culture is about playing into those demands. impish ears took off because in a way people wanted a 'jak that was even more wholesome than wholesomejak. slopjaks took off as a modern interpretation of soyquoting while catering to the countrywar types. meximutt took off by catering to booru culture instead of being another generic variant:unknown trace. sprunki hitler's bbc took off on the schlog because there is an inherently comedic aspect to over-the-top brainrot, playing off of already-existing tiktok brainrot form. so on so forth. every cause has an effect. or something. i'm getting ahead of myself. but it is extremely hard to force demand for something without demand, hell even slopjaks would've been ignored as a forced meme if they were posted at the wrong place at the wrong time (say, trying to force them in 2015 /s4s/)
