Cope. It can't repair itself.... It's going to atrophy and die out.
It doesn't need to repair itself. A fetus will be inviable without it. This isn't to say that humans may transition to a different gender determination system, for example some animals use one X as men and two X as female. So you don't need a Y chromosome to be male generally, that's just for some species.
 
dude you're just making stuff up because you're jealous that I have two Y chromosomes and you only have one.
