I'd say that getting molested can cause that, but it isn't unique to victims of molestation.
The defensive part is just classic victim/prey mentality where they are traumatized by something and their entire body and mind try to keep it from happening again

Also, i guess being defensive like that from a young age would fuck up your social life, so yea i think it could probably lead to some 'tism-like symptoms down the line
