how do I cope with the fact that my life is incredibly boring

I didn't mind when I was a teenager, but now I'm pretty much an adult and nothing ever happens. What is there to look forward to? I will likely never become a great king or hero, a legendary athlete or artist, or an eminent intellectual. Nothing ever happens. My 20s and maybe my 30s will be spent under boring "current year" soyciety. The most excitement I can expect to have is vacations, which I don't even enjoy. I would be lucky to find a relatable wife too.
