VOTE! High Fantasy or Sword & Sorcery ?

Which is your favourite genre ? And why ?
Technically speaking High Fantasy birthed from Sword & Sorcery, but the two genres are massively different, both in their format and also in their atmosphere, message and focus of the story.
I think both have their place, but if I ever had to write a novel, I think I'd try to write it in the style of Sword & Sorcery merely for the fact that it lends itself better to character development and therefore moral teachings.

as far as i understand sword and sorcery is basically just high fantasy but more focused on the adventure/characters and less on the overall plot

High Fantasy is basically on a grander scale, focuses much more on the lore of the world, on making the world seem big, and tries to tell something through the world.
The story usually follows a protagonist wandering through the world in order to accomplish a quest of grand proportions.
Example : Lord of the Rings

Sword & Sorcery focuses much more on the quest of a singular character, and the world isn't explained very much. It's myseterious in nature but also a secondary focus of the story, as the focus is more on the story of the character, which usually revolves around some kind of revenge or the survival of the protagonist
Example : Conan the Barbarian

high fantasy bc i love how different peoples main stories mingle w others
e.g frodo and legolas or like idk gandalf and thor in
not one person is super duper overpowered compred to everyone else but the world building is so COOL and everyone is somee sort of amazing so it gives a more well rounded story
