When I first played Forza Horizon 4 in 2018 the graphics were mindblowing as a 13-year-old, even though I had a weak Xbox One S.
Even today I still have brief 5-second moments where it tricks my brain into thinking it's real life. Maybe my eyes are just terrible.

Flight Simulator looks fucking fantastic even on my Xbox Series S. I don't know how the hell they got it running on it tbh.
Can't imagine what it looks like on max settings and above 30 fps.

You seem to know a good bit about Forza. I was thinking about purchasing one of the games as something new to play in my spare time but I saw that both the fourth and the fifth one were on sale right now. Which one do you think’s better?

4 is better if you like a more "diverse" (regarding season changes) climate and just the UK in general. 5 has a bigger map and a few more cars but a lot of people say it gets old fast.
I've only played 4 though. It's aged pretty well considering it's from 2018. 5's graphics aren't much better.

Buy an Xbox 360 and play Motorsport 4 and Horizon 1
(although from these two Horizon 4 is better, Horizon 5 is soyboy garbage)

When I played Half-Life I was blown away by the graphics. This was around 2016 or so.

xbox one s consoles are also really cheap and dont have glossy plastic like the later xbox 360 models
i might get one myself as a blu ray player

Only the 360 S models with 250GB hard disks had the glossy finish, the 4GB Xbox 360 S had a matte finish (and I'm pretty sure they ditched the gloss finish on all models after a certain point)
The E model has a glossy finish, but it's also trash and no one bought one so whatever

and i did some thinking and you're probably right about some other stuff, like i doubt the Xbox One consoles will work well 15 years from now because of online services and stuff
360 controllers are nicer too
