the phone i currently use is moto g72 btw, and (((Lenovo))) supposedly injected an update that started draining the battery faster(which for now not did not happen with iPhones after the batterygate incident).
so now, i can't go forward, but i can't go back and isolate myself from the clutter of social networking either for two reasons:
1. Classic dumbphones are going to stop working soon because EDGE is getting discontinued.
2. Modern dumphones got enshittified after Sony Ericsson became defunct, and are now based around the same shitty Mediatek chip(Nokia too, but they use a modified version). Albeit no applet support and lack of functionality. KaiOS on the other hand was handwritten by jeets, and from what I have heard it's EXTREMELY slow.
iOS might be malware, but the quality remains intact because IT'S EXCLUSIVE to Apple devices.
Unlike Android, and Google does nothing to prevent manufacturers from making the user experience worse. No code of conduct to prevent bloatware and slowdown slop on budget models. No integrity checks to prevent phones with fake specs from ever being made. Nothing.
