10 rounds is the legal limit in Cuckifornia.... it's a way to bypass the limit by having two magazines that arent in use at once...

It's still not practical. It also seems like it would be less reliable and more expensive to produce than just a normal rifle with a 20 round magazine that you can easily reload in 3 seconds
