Linux is not a singular os but multiple oses called linux distros using the same kernel which is linux if i am correct this is the most basic definition

if your using a android phone your likely using a linux distro since android is a linux distro technically as it uses the linux kernel

Well, there's nothing wrong with it. Old cases are built for old hardware that was designed for them. They weren't designed with the expectation that you'd be putting future technology in them, which requires higher power and generates more heat. Cases also back in the day, Left almost no room for ventilation as well.
