April 16th, 2025: Another Wednesday today, I woke up early for the breakfast event hosted by the priest but I texted him that I would not be able to stay for long as I had an academic meeting to possibly pick out my classes for next semester at 9:00pm, Mercurius said that he would be there at 8:40pm. I then got there and the priest was cooking some scrambled eggs and sausage patties, he offered me some coffee to take for the walk there and I had some. I left at 8:45pm but Mercurius didn't show up by then and I got to my appointment a bit early. I then had it with this bald Black guy and we ended up wrapping up in 8 minutes. I then texted my mom about this job fair and she asked me if I was going to dress up for the career fair and I told her that I wasn't. She then told me I should so I went back home and put on a suit jacket and my red, white, and blue button up. I went around to multiple tables to pick up some goodies from different places and handed out my resume, I left the place for a bit and then went back home to write some more emails. I then walked back for a bit to attend the other part of the career fair and then finally went to my first class of the day. I sat through it but I then remembered that Asherah's workplace had this food event that I realized I should go to because it was the last event for the school year of its kind and that I really should work on building up my courage. So I got out of my class and started walking over there while being extremely nervous. I remembered this one technique for calming anxiety online that I saw where it consists of breathing in for four seconds, holding it for four seconds, breathing out for four seconds, and then holding that for four seconds. I performed the 4444 breathing technique on the walk there and it took me longer than expected for it to work but I was calmed down by the time I got to the building. I entered and then went to her workplace and had the following conversation:
"How are you doing?" Asherah's boss asked me.
"Good!" I replied.
"Oh wait, are you helping us with setup?" She asked.
"Yes I am!" I replied.
What she said next almost gave me a heart attack:
"You're the Gemerson! I was like hey who is this person?"
I was wearing a nametag at the time but it was obscured by my pseudoleather jacket.
"Wait how do you know my name?"
What she said to me was worst than the last near heart attack inducing experience:
"Because of Asherah."
"Cool... Wait she told me about, wait no she told you about me?" I asked all nervous.
"Did you come in before?" She asked
"Yeah." I replied
"She said your name and I just remembered it. But I did put it together that you were the one helping u just now, so thank you, we really appreciate the help!"
I then talked to the others a bit including Khadija and then took these really good cookies and went to my second class. Padma moved again to sit with her friend and I realized two could play this game so I sat next to her for a while but she didn't really react so I just left class early. I then went over to the Catholic Center for Bible study, this woman came in to speak to the priest and then the priest asked if I would acolyte for the Holy Thursday mass but I said I couldn't. Bible study today was canceled so I went over to my art class and then set up my stuff before taking a walk throughout the art building. I eventually encountered the Sorcerer girl from the one shot and we talked to each other about my campaign, she said that she was interested and wanted to try playing either a High Elf Archivist or a Halfling Soulknife and later decided on being a Soulknife. In art class we had this art discussion and I was paired up with Ginger Girl, I told her all about my art piece and I noticed her taking notes on her iPad and we cycled through the others. Keleche's art piece was the worst due to how unthought out it was, it was hardly symmetrical, pencil marks were everywhere, and it didn't even touch the border. We debated on what celebrities were on Pinky's until she said that it was her great-grandparents, Hoxha's was the most impressive because of how much effort it took. We then continued painting until it was time to go and I remembered Enosh inviting me to join this comedy event so I went afterwards. There was this really funny story about the comedian and his father from Damascus talking about how he knew so much about airplanes breaking the sound barrier. I got this special food which was a chicken sandwich with fried pickles and fries for dinner, I ate the sandwich and then left because the show was done and ate the fries on the way home. I then got home and took a shower and went to sleep.

April 17th, 2025: Actually a really good day today, I had the last of my milk in my cereal for breakfast as I completed my German assignments before class. I played some more modded Terraria and then finally decided to head out to the coffee place for the Bible study until I noticed that there was a line of dripping happening in front of the door to the bathroom, I immediately grabbed my towels and put them down in front of the door and called the apartment company.
"Hello, I just noticed that there is a burst water pipe in the ceiling above me and it is leaking in front of my bathroom door." I said.
"Ok wait where did you say the pipe was?" He asked.
"It appears to run parallel to the bathroom door in the ceiling above it." I elaborated.
"I'm pretty familiar with the piping of the floor plan, and I know that there isn't a pipe that runs where you said it does, so in the meantime just put a bucket and some towels under it." He told me.
I took his advice and then went to the coffee shop, when I entered the building where it was located. He told me that he talked to the residence upstairs and she said she had a kitchen overflow, which explained the water dripping through, but at least it's stopped by now. I then got to the coffee shop and drank my coffee for a while until Bible study started. More people showed up at Bible study for this week's meeting, including Kaitlin, than for last week. I managed to stay as long as I could until I had to leave for German class. I walked over to German class and I had a good time, I did some of the partner activities with Quentin and did well until I left. I first encountered Macie on my walk back home and said hi to her and she said hi back. The next person that I encountered was Quoc when he said:
"Call me if you need to discuss anything in particular!"
I thanked him and then went home to game some more before I had to head back for my lab at 2:30pm. I then got in and we didn't actually have to do any programming today which was super nice and I got done with the assignment in just under 30 minutes. So I walked home and started packing up to head back home for Easter. I got all my dirty laundry thrown into my giant suitcase and then put a bunch of stuff in my backpack before I made myself some of the stir-fry rice with tiny shrimp in it for dinner with some soy sauce, I ate that and then finished cleaning up the place until it was 6:30pm and I started walking over to the Catholic Center for Good Friday mass. When I got there, I saw a few people including Mercurius and the head acolyte from the mass with the Archbishop there discussing how to do mass differently from the standard masses. Eventually the Honduran came out and all four of us discussed some stuff related to religion before we went in to be seated. A pleasant surprise for today was seeing Zephyr come in when she hadn't in a long time so I told her about me serving as acolyte for the Friday masses and she confirmed that she didn't attend the Tuesday masses because she had class then, no mention of Asherah at all. I complimented Zephyr on her earring and then the mass had started, the Honduran had sat next to me and after the introit (which Gabriel was singing for) he asked me:
"Wait do I go up for the readings immediately after we all sit down?"
I replied to him:
"I think so"
And we then sat down and I saw him go up, I gave him two thumbs up while he was doing it and after the Gospel acclamation he gave a homily talking about the Triduum and him showing that he studied Latin, he talked about the feet washing that were to happen and just before that I realized that there were only 11 people sitting up in the front row, 1 for each of the Apostles after Judas betrayed them: Simon Peter son of Jonah, Andrew son of Jonah, James son of Zebedee, John the Evangelist, Philip, Nathanael bar Tholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James son of Alphaeus, Jude, and Simon the Zealot. I then realized that I should go up to be the Matthias of the group and I sat all the way on the left. While I was waiting for the thing, this middle aged lady went up to sit with the foot-washing group and I noticed that she had brownish-yellow toenails and I felt so sad for the priest, I got my right foot washed and then once the foot washing was done for everyone. We did the Our Father prayer and this girl I ended up standing next to motioned for me to hold her hand for it.

Once the mass was done at 8:20pm, said bye to Mercurius, the Honduran, Zephyr, and even Markus and walked home, I finished up packing and at 9:00pm my dad said that he was there, I asked him where but it turns out he accidentally stopped at the Catholic center because he didn't get the memo that I went back home, he drove there and then I loaded up my stuff and went home. On the ride home he said that grandma Jane, Thing Alpha, Thing Beta, Jared, Jean, and grandpa, although my sister wouldn't be at home, we eventually got home at 11:00pm at night and I said hi to my mom and my two cats, I got unpacked and even saw this cool stack of books that was now in my room.

The History of Philosophy thing was super cool because I didn't have much stuff from my mom's grandfather. I then took a shower and went to sleep.

April 18th, 2025: First day back home, I woke up kind of late because I didn’t have anything to do but my good cat was constantly looking at the door wanting to be let outside of the room, so I let her out and went back to sleep. But immediately afterwards she was constantly meowing at my door. I wasn’t sure if she was meowing to be let back in or meowing for me to come outside my room. I then finally got up and got dressed and went into the guest bedroom that also functioned as an office to work on my Biblejak for the day. My dad intruded once but he didn’t see anything and just said:
“No need to be scared, you can use the office!”
I then finished that up until it turns out that my sister was actually able to make it home for Easter because it was such a cheap flight, we said hi and then she kicked me out of the office because she still needed to work today. I was told to take leaves out of this ditch for one of my chores and while I was doing that I met the downstairs tenant and we talked quite a bit, he mentioned once living in the same city as me and renting a mansion along Lake Michigan with 5 other people, he remarked that it had a fireplace in every room. He also had a daughter who was also 21 but went to a different middle school, it turns out it was his 75th birthday today but I wouldn’t find that out until later, I got done with my raking task and then went upstairs. Later on I went downstairs and talked with my grandparents and dad and my dad was discussing this incident at work where this person on a committee had managed to do some maneuvering to protect his sister from potential layoffs and said sister was a food worker who almost got fired for waiving a knife at somebody on the job, they all found it ridiculous. I was told by my mom to start making some pizza dough but they were being really vague on if I should make one batch or two, I was eventually told to make just one and I put it in this metal bowl with a heater underneath it and some plastic wrap to let it sit for 2 hours. I talked with my family a bit more and then head upstairs to start transcribing my Philmont journal so I could eventually post it to this blog. I then decided to hop into the converted office to give the nice cat to my sister when I saw her work and she told me:
“You wanna see the Barbifying that has been done?”
I replied:
“Ok!”
She then pulled up a slideshow with a slide describing a bunch of different types of collisions.
“This little Barbie crossed the street at the wrong time!”
She said pointing to the ‘Pedestrian or Bicyclist Crossing Street against Signal’ picture.
“This Barbie got hit by a drunk driver!”
She said pointing to the ‘Red-Light running’ picture.
“This little Barbie didn’t cross fast enough!”
She said pointing to the ‘Right-Turn on Red’ picture. I then noticed that the ‘Rear End into Bicyclist’ and ‘Pedestrian in Road’ images were swapped. At one point I mentioned to my dad that I will sometimes get expired milk from the place I work at for free and he then went around telling everybody to ask me how I got my milk while laughing. I edited the Soyjak wiki some more to add more stuff until it came to be time for dinner. We ended up making some pizza with the dough I cooked and my mom and I split a pizza, I read some stuff online and it said that the time to no longer give up what we had given up (alcohol for me) for Lent was done on Holy Thursday so I got my mom to open a bottle of wine, I drank some and I remember pulling out the chair for my grandpa to sit down and eat our meal. My mom then asked me this question:
“Did you go on any dates recently?”
I replied:
“Yes, but there wasn’t that much chemistry.” (Read: Couldn’t be bothered to shave and was a non-denominational 🤢🤮)
“How did you meet?” She asked.
“On Hinge.”
“Well can I see your profile?” She asked, but I was getting kind of pissed off.
“No, I deleted the app because it sucks ok!” I told her.
“So you only got one date out of it and then deleted it?”
“No, I have gotten multiple dates on it before, dating apps are just awful ok!” I told her. I was quite pissed off at how ignorant she was but I kept my cool. I then had some macaroons for dinner and went upstairs for a bit until I went back downstairs to find my whole family watching this soccer game that was still 0-0 whenever I checked the score. I then finally took a shower and went to sleep.

April 19th, 2025: Holy Saturday today, I woke up in my room without my cat this time and then went down to get breakfast and coffee, which was scrambled eggs with toast and sausages, I had to refill my dad’s coffee but I got there just when his dad decided to empty and refill the coffee pot and brew a new batch. I waited for a bit while they started talking about fudge because Jared works at a fudge place and was able to nearly replicate their recipe with a high level of accuracy in just a microwave, to which my grandpa talked about his had making this really good half chocolate and half peanut butter fudge that he really liked, but my sister was off having brunch with her friends. I tried to work on the Biblejak for the day but at one point my mom burst into my room without knocking and said:
“Ohh you’re going to have to stay in this other room!”
I was confronted with the fact that I wouldn’t be able to make the Biblejak for today, so I just cleaned it up and asked @garf to finish it for me. Also 6ie posted that it was Rocky’s birthday today. A bit later I was told to hose off the new lawnmower and wash it down and while doing so, Thing Alpha, Thing Beta, and their mom arrived and we all said hi and I had to do this weird hug where I didn’t wrap my arms around them because my gloves were dirty. I then spent some more time up in my new room reading the Bible until it came time for lunch at 1:30pm which was french onion soup. The 9 of us enjoyed it but it took a while for Grandpa to enjoy it because he was caught chatting with the guy who rents out downstairs. I enjoyed it and then I was told that I would have to go with my sister and cousins to go get some Easter stuff from a Pick N’ Save nearby. When we first walked in, I saw this guy from High School who I will be calling RnB, he looked like Null of Kiwifarms fame and the most notable thing I remember about him is that one time during my sophomore year of high school I had a study hall with him and this other guy made a joke calling Pick N Save “Pick N Slave” and RnB got extremely offended that he started yelling at the guy. I didn’t say hi to him but I went in the store and we continued to look for the eggs until I spotted this other guy who I will be calling Freshman Evan, he was in a play with me when I was a senior and he was a freshman so we all called him “Freshman Evan” because he was a freshman who was named Evan. There was also this Freshman Dean but he got the name because he looked like Dean. I said hi and I asked him what is it like to be Senior Evan now and he said that he actually graduated early. We then got the plastic eggs and I even suggested getting some Dr. Pepper flavored Peeps and the hesitantly went along with my suggestion, on the ride home Thing Beta had the aux and was playing this song called Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off but Thing Alpha didn’t like it. Thing Beta nearly caused us to crash at this infamous left turn and my sister got so mad at her. We finally got back and started packing up the eggs with candy. I tried one of the Dr. Pepper Peeps and they weren’t as bad as I would expect them to be. We then all went outside to give the Go-Kart a run on this track that my dad had mowed out and these are the results:
>Garnet and Thing Beta’s record: 1:49.12
>My record: 1:36.45
>Thing Alpha’s record (disqualified): 1:37.46
>Garnet and Thing Alpha’s record: 1:45
>Thing Beta’s record: 1:39.29
>My record: 1:27.44
>Garnet’s record: 1:29.33
>Platt’s record: 1:36.30
>Aunt and Thing Alpha’s record: 2:32.39
>My record: 1:26.40
>Platt’s record: 1:34.03

I was doing so good even when they had to apply a ‘handicap’ onto the other’s time that I felt proud. I then got a call from my roommate Enosh where he said that I owed him $70 for each month which I didn’t give him money for rent for a total of $210, looking back on it this was a weird jump from last time and he has never payed the wifi bill in the past few months so I might try to negotiate it down $45. A bit later on in the day I found out that the Ice Bucket challenge was resurrected and that they wanted me to donate but I only had $2 in my wallet, they then made fun of me for that. A bit later I learned more about my family history and that my 7x Great Grandfather converted to Lutheranism in 1742 and then immigrated to the United States in 1762 when he bought a ticket but it turns out that they accidentally paid a conman the money so his two sons were indentured for 8 years to pay off the debt. Also I am descendant of the guy who Georgetown was named after. A bit later I found my sister and my cousins upstairs and Thing Beta offered me some white wine because she poured herself too large of a glass, my sister was talking about her ex boyfriend who dumped her to “focus on himself” (tardspeak for: “I’m a disgusting (man)whore”) and while they were dating, he watched Andrew Tate and Joe Rogan and is now a Gymrat and we went through his fitness account on Instagram and mocked. We had dinner with Jerry where he talked about Denver being a dead downtown in the 1970s and his son and also how he claimed he could navigate Denver blindfolded due to how long he lived there. After dinner, my cousins, my sister, and I went on a walk where Thing Alpha offered us some weed and I smoked some, I found out that my mom and dad only dated for 9 months before getting married while my aunt and her husband dated for 5 years before they got married in 2001. When we got back home, I remembered that I still had weed breath so I found my nice cat and started breathing into her fur to disguise it. It worked for a while and then I had peach cobbler and ice cream for dessert. A bit later I was talking about the cats and I asked my mom this question:
"When did we get [good cat]?"
She replied:
"Oh we got him from 7DAC. He found her at this farm fertilizer processing plant."
I clarified:
"No I meant when did we get her?"
She said:
"Oh I don't remember"
I them replied:
"I know we got [bad cat] earlier than that"
And then my sister replied:
"September 28th, 2011, I remember when dad said that he found her trapped in a screen door and then said that he gave her to another family and then when I asked what her name was he pulled her out of his pocket and said: 'what kind of name do you think fits her?' and I was so overjoyed."
After that, I took a shower, and then went to bed with the good cat curled up in my right arm. Oh yeah, the girl I was supposed to go on a date with was started texting me while drunk.

April 20th, 2025: Easter today, I woke up at 6:00am with my nice cat cuddled in my arm but I had to get her to move so I could get up and get dressed, I wanted to get dressed up extra fancy for Easter mass but I couldn't access my old room because my aunt was sleeping in there so I just put on dress pants and my pseudoleather jacket. I was going to go to the 7:30am mass more in the city but then I had a change of heart and decided to go to the one I used to go to in my hometown back when my other grandma (not Jane) would come to visit my family. I then had a bowl of cereal for breakfast before I left at 8:30am while saying bye to my dad, my grandpa, and my grandma, grandma Jane then said to me:
"Make sure to pray for us at mass, as your Programmer Uncle would say: 'the unwashed'"
I replied:
"Don't worry, I won't forget to pray for the 'unwashed'!"
I then drove to the mass and got to the parking lot, I ended up having to park as far away as possible from the entrance to the church. I walked in there and saw that all of the pews were as packed as possible and there was this one guy in a cyan button-up and a purple tie bringing out those beige colored metal folding chairs and putting them out for the others that were there. I helped him with a few and then I sat down for the mass. The whole mass was interesting and I heard a lot more children than usual. The priest did the thing where he went around and splashed holy water on the people and yet again, I managed to be missed by any of the water. The homily was about the 1997 movie Good Will Hunting and how Will's friend would constantly hope that when he knocked on Will's door to take him to work at his construction job, he would be gone off to a better place to utilize his skills better. While I was waiting to go up for communion, I saw my Freshman year of high school Health teacher and her two daughters, one in the grade above me and one in my current grade. I remember one time near the end of the year the teacher was moving rooms and wanted to get rid of a bunch of stuff and there was this set of books from the 1980s called the New Encyclopedia of Knowledge, they were all green hardcover books that corresponded to a certain letter of the alphabet with one serving as an index, I wanted all of them but the teacher's curly-haired assistant wanted them so we then reached a compromise and I got roughly 2/3rds of the books and she got the rest, I stuffed a lot of them into my backpack and carried the rest. Dean thought I was crazy for carrying all of them in my backpack. I took them home and my mom ended up putting a few in the bathrooms to read. Anyways I eventually get done with them mass and I see Xebec's father across the church and walk over to them, I see the health teacher again, her daughters, and now her son and husband and say hi to them. I then get to Xebec's father and I say hi to him and we chat a bit, I see Xebec's two younger sisters and Xebec's mother and say hi to all of them and ask them where he is.
"Ohh, he's attending Easter mass up in Green Bay with his girlfriend, he'll be back next week! And say hello to your father for me!"
He replied.
"I'll be back by then but I will say hi to my dad for you!"
I replied. I then got out of the church and started my drive to the gas station I used to work at but then I got a text from my mom asking me to pick up some fresh Italian parsley and rosemary, so I drove over to the grocery store and walked around for a bit until I realized I had skipped the fresh vegetable section and walked back to get the Italian parsley, I had to ask an employee where the rosemary was and he pointed it out to me but I noticed that it was empty so he went into the back to grab some and then gave it to me, I went to the self checkout and paid for it before driving back home. On the drive back home I made a quick prayer for 'the unwashed' as my grandma had requested. When I got home I noticed the entire family was there eating waffles for breakfast so I had one. Jared arrived shortly after I got home and he ate his waffle, after breakfast he started playing Balatro and recommended that I play it, even offering to get me on their Apple Arcade family plan so I could play it for free, I just passed and then we started to play Monopoly. There were 7 people playing monopoly, Jane, my sister, me, my aunt, Thing Alpha, Thing Beta, and Jared. I didn't get a good start and only managed to acquire two properties, Connecticut Avenue (which I traded away to Jared for free rent on all light blue) and Indiana Avenue. I didn't like my luck and how long it took to get to my turn so I just quit in the middle of the game, my sister told me I shouldn't but I put my money back in the bank at that point so it was official. I then went upstairs for a bit to write my blog entry for a bit and then I got called downstairs by my mom to set the table for lunch. I then overheard my sister saying:
"Gemerson will only play a game if he knows he could win!"
I didn't say anything about that falsehood, I just didn't like how slow and humiliating my loss would have been. To be honest I am not that good when it comes to competing with others in all aspects of life so I just try to focus on cooperation. I always feel like the laughingstock when at home and I would have rather attended Mercurius's baptism that happened yesterday. I went back upstairs to cuddle with the good cat until my mom called me down to set the table for an early dinner, I got it set but then I was told to help polish the silverware by my mom that she got from her Grandpa. I wasn't happy for a bit but polishing all the knives, forks, and spoons was actually pretty fun. After that we do our Easter egg hunt where the adults and the kids are split up into two teams to find 19 of our eggs (small ones for kids, large ones for adults) we end up finding all but 1 of our eggs so we lost. I bring the good cat up to Thing Alpha and then we have dinner at 3:15pm because Thing Alpha and Thing Beta have to catch a train. At one point I accidentally knocked over an empty glass and a good amount of them started to act like I actually spilled something.
"Gemerson!"
I got pissed:
"Why are you all acting like I spilt something, I didn't ok!"
"We're just joking!"
They replied.
"Just stop it ok!"
I exclaimed, I then walked out of the living room and took a short breather in my parent's bedroom, I tried to be friendly with the mean cat but she just ran under the bed, I went back and just tried to stay silent for most of the meal so they couldn't have anything to mock me with, I sat in between my grandpa and my dad and actually enjoyed the meal. Dessert was chocolate peach cobbler with homemade chocolate sauce on top and I loved it. Finally it was time for my haircut as I had been delaying it for so long, and my mom cut it to be shorter, but I wish I had gotten my haircut at the barber in town because it had been so long since I have seen him, my mom put rosemary oil into my hair to make it 'grow' faster and grandma Jane talked about how her father would call stuff like that 'foo-foo oil'. Eventually my cousins left and then my aunt, my grandpa, and my grandma left so I wished them all a farewell and then worked on my C programming assignment only to have its due date pushed back to the end of Monday, I contacted my group about the interview proof and Chappell said:
<I will transfer it from my phone to my computer and then we can submit it as a group
I then was about to take a shower until I realized that I had already done so earlier today and then I went to sleep.

Song of the Day: Alejandro - Lady Gaga (2009)

April 21st, 2025: I woke up REAL early at somewhere around 3:05am, I had this dream where I worked in this early-20th century building that was 20 stores at an office job, I worked on the second floor and my friend worked on the 3rd floor, eventually it made the news that the 3rd floor of the tower collapsed on itself (none of the floors above it were affected somehow) and my friend worked on the 3rd floor, I went around desperately looking for her but I ended up finding out she was ok so I was glad. Anyways I woke up and browsed my phone and found out that Pope Francis died today at the age of 89, so at 3:13am I texted the Wednesday morning breakfast groupchat:
>Pope Francis died. 😢
Some guy with a 262 area code that I didn't know that wasn't Mercurius or Seraphim (the recent father) texted in the groupchat:
<May he rest in peace with the Lord our God.
<Genuinely sad right now, but thank you for letting us know

I woke up later and then had some cereal while my dad was working remotely and he consoled me about the loss of the Pope. I finished up getting packed to take the bus and said bye to my mom and my sister and cats. At 9:35am my dad drove me to the bus stop and I got on the bus which got to the station at 11:30am, the bus back home took a really long time to get there and I felt like I nearly got pick-pocketed twice along the way. I eventually got back at 12:10pm and I completed this machine learning quiz I had to do and then walked over to the Catholic center because there was an announcement about a noon mass there, I checked through all of my texts and couldn't find anything so I just assumed it was a nothingburger. So I went home, I later found out that it wasn't a complete nothingburger because I forgot to check on GroupMe, I walked to my first class only to find it was canceled and I forgot to check the notifications. I then went home and played more modded Terraria until it came time for me to go to my second class. I saw Lizzo along the way in a tie-die t-shirt outside but I just held my head down, the guy from Holy Thursday mass was in class and I said hi to him. I even caught an error in the slideshow for the class when it said TensorFlow was available only for Python 3.11 when they actually released support for 3.12. I then went back home after that class and started cleaning up a bunch because there was a showing for my apartment from 4:30pm to 4:45pm, Enosh was in there just sitting on the couch doing absolutely nothing with his mess in the living room being untouched. I packed up my art supplies and left to go to my art class. In art class Keleche was complaining because he dropped his paintbrush down the sink while I overheard Ginger girl talking about her life and stuff, I fucked up the color blending but Pinky's painting was amazing in all respect. I then walked home and I asked Enosh how the tour went, he said that it was ok and I told him that he should have cleaned up beforehand, he immediately got defensive and said that I never told him so I apologized. To be honest, I wish I was there because I wanted to see his reaction to being outed as a slob and him finally having to experience consequences for his actions for once in his entire life. I didn't have any lunch or dinner so just before I took a shower, I ate some mixed nuts from the cubboard and then took my shower and then tried to go to sleep but Enosh was watching this movie really loudly in his room with the light on, but I got to sleep anyway.

April 22nd, 2025: Woke up at 8:00am and finished off my cereal, I then went to the coffee shop I frequent to get some coffee and then I went elsewhere to study for my test today but got annoyed by this old lady sitting nearby constantly coughing. I then went back home and then went to my first class of the day. At 11:42am I had this conversation in the groupchat:
>Ready for the test today?
<Lots of things to read - the South Korean
<Yeah, I kinda just skimmed through the slides on that one lol - Nintendo fan
<Use Ai to summarize

>I have German now
>When I was studying this woman wouldn’t stop coughing…

<Ugh. That’s the worst - Nintendo fan
>I wasn’t near her, but I already live with enough of the audio equivalent to Chinese water torture.
I got through my class as normal and Quentin even complimented me on my haircut. I then walked over to my second class and got some Low Carb Monster Energy because I had never tried it before. I was told to move to the front so it would be easier for the teacher to monitor our tests and the test started. I put a bunch of my pencils and pens out next to me looking for the mechanical pencil that I needed and started thinking about how I could theoretically help another person cheat by using the positioning of pencils and pens. The test was actually really easy and it consisted of 15 multiple choice questions with 4 possible answers for each, I first thought about positioning pencils to convey the answer, if I pointed a pencil in 1 of 8 directions I could theoretically use two pencils to convey the answers to 3 questions, needing 10 pencils total, but if I did a pen or a pencil facing 1 of 8 directions I could cover 2 answers to questions using one piece of information, then it got on to calculators and the ones where you can display numbers and letters, where with a period and an exclamation point added to the roster I could convey 3 answers in one piece of information, needing 5 characters (but I would probably think of substitutions for similar looking characters) I had a TI-30XIIS in my backpack (but no calculators on the test) that could do the numbers 0 through 9 and +, -, /, x, ., and (, for 2 answers for one character and 11 characters displayed so enough to help someone cheat on the test in full. Anyways I got back home and made some Mac n cheese for lunch because of how early I got out and then worked on my blog entry for the day. I ended up going to the Catholic Center early and when I got there I decided to vacuum the hallway and even found this spider toy that I put back. I vacuumed upstairs while Henry was there and even saw his girlfriend. I continued vacuuming while talking with the Honduran and he made a joke saying:
“Men aren’t supposed to be covering their hair during mass.”
I replied with another:
“But women are supposed to veil for it, but I’m curious if wearing a hat counts.”
He then laughed knowing exactly who I was referring to. I then went downstairs and kept reading this book on all the popes. A bit later I said hi to Gabriel and even saw the Honduran practicing to be a lector by reading out loud. The priest then sent this group of us a text saying:
<Hey could two of you serve?
I volunteered to be the crucifer and later Mercurius volunteered. I lit all the candles except the stations of the cross and then went through mass while making less mistakes. The mass was in remembrance of Pope Francis so he talked about that during his homily and his humble life during a time from after the Second Vatican council to 1975ish where the church was swinging between being super liberal and kinda conservative, he mentioned there being a photo of a piñata in the chapel from that period, and also mentioned Pen Guy. In the crowd I saw the Sydney Sweeney girl, Lauren (without Bartholomew), Gabriel, Markus, Henry, the woman from my church who usually wears a beret, and some people from the seminary I visited a while bac. For the singing I could hear Lauren’s voice stand out from the crowd more than usual. (because less people than the Sunday mass we go to) Mercurius accidentally dropped some of the coals and we just cleaned that up but I forgot to put the chalice back onto the table next to the altar. After we proceeded back outside the chapel after mass I shook hands and greeted people and told them to come to the dinner, I shook the hand of the Sydney Sweeney lookalike but she didn’t come to dinner and I then went around snuffing out the candles and putting everything back. I got changed into my normal clothes and then waited in line for dinner, Benjamin joined us and I got a brat with a lot of ketchup and sat next to Markus, the Honduran, and this guy who I will be calling Mahdi. I talked with them for a bit and wandered around and even said hi to Pen Guy until Punk came in later, I saw them eating their hamburger by dipping it into ketchup, I joked about that with them and asked if they were feeling ok at the meeting with the Archbishop and they said they were fine, at one point I dropped a mention that I knew where they lived when they were talking about where they got their jacket (they found it on a street and I thought as in “I found it among the litter” not “garage sale but in the street”) and they asked me semi-defensively:
“How do you know where I live?”
I then replied:
“Well you remember when you gave me that flier for the breakfasts. Well I went there a few times and the pastor there mentioned that you lived there.”
They immediately lost all of their defensiveness and even complimented me on my hat, I later found out her last name and even told her mine and then I left the place to walk home. Rama and his girlfriend (who I will be calling Sita) posted about this terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir that happened today which killed 25 Hindus. I got home and started working on this homework due tomorrow in the afternoon and made some good progress before I finally decided to call it quits and go to sleep after my shower.
