Would you attribute your sense of humour to the in-jokes on this site, fast pattern recognition and intuition, or a genuine wit that has a bit of an algorithm to it?
I believe I'm the second one, with decently fast yet quality pattern recognition and also a decent intuition. If I notice there's a funny joke I could say on the spot, I just do it. I don't believe in thinking over a joke for hours because that makes it feel forced and coally. I am in no way the funniest person here, though, and in real life I frequently get mogged by my 5 year old little brother in jokes I say. I'm also not a fan of most modern comedy. Stand-up will always be coal. The soysphere overall was a great source of gemeralds but it's all powered by in-jokes I've heard many people say they are getting tired of.
I believe this could lead to the creation of quality gemeralds that the "muh soyjaks are le brainrot" crowd are going to seethe at for being genuinely admirable comedic bangers.
