Characters with horns, what do they mean?​

I've always found it a bit strange that some of the characters in FPE have horns, some are curved, some are straight, some are bigger, some are smaller and have always wondered what the symbolism of the horns are. Characters like Edward having horns makes a lot of sense because he's evil, but Kevin and Mr Demi also have horns. So are all the people with horns male then? Well no because Miss Circle, Miss Bloomie, Miss Grace, etc. I did wonder if the horns ever meant that those characters in specific were evil, but Mister Demi doesn't seem to be evil, because there are some nice teachers after all.

I know this will be a very empty answer from me, but it could just potentally be an asthetic thing, the genetics of characters in FPE have always been diverse and cartoonish

the characters don't have a style or a purpose they exist and are reused in other animations so it's more likely that they exist to fit the theming of the songs and therefore are more akin to actors than actual characters that die and stuff, wouldn't be surprised if somehow abbie just comes back to life and appears in a completely unrelated animation and with that to say the fact a fandom came out of this is so strange to me because these characters don't have a story, they just exist to look cool, they're like the twitter user's personal play dolls.

i thought the horns might have a connection in someway however. maybe its the sizes of the horns?

one thing that gets me however is whether they're real or not, because if they are then potentially the whole paper thing is accurate and their genetics is just paper, but despite that, they have blood somehow, but if you think about it, the blood is ink.
