Its not really about "wanting and desiring", its really about what really happened. Hitler himself had remarkably inconsistent views that constantly changed for gain. It makes sense that Hitler would incorporate them into his army since he wanted to enslave them and make them serve the nordics. It's kinda like the jewish ghetto police.
And yeah of course he didn't care about racial purity, why else would he try to invade clearly nordic countries like Great Britain or Norway.
