I refrained from saying no-no words since 2018. Occasionally I might say homophobic or transphobic slurs but you'll never see me say the f bomb.

Personally, the way you swear says a lot about you as a person. Like a lot of people pointed it out before me here, it's based on your level of intellect, just like the use of any other type of word. If you just say "uhh... nigger." at everyone you midly dislike, of course people will find you lacking in the vocabulary department. There are so many words in the english, so learn new ones and use them at your discretion. Trashtalking is a skill.

I try to refrain, but they always slip in out of habit.
I force myself to not use them when I'm having a proper conversation and or, a debate with someone, even if it's not necessarily needed.
I like sounding professional, as people take you more seriously when you do.
