If this spying stuff is true, then it would have been far better a solution to simply crack down on those within the church who were hindering and spying upon the Ukrainian government/military, rather than completely banning the whole church. The alternative for these Orthodox Christians is now the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, which is allegiant to the Archbishop of Constantinople, who I think, from his actions like extreme cooperation with Catholic leaders or American presidents, for example, is a big, stupid idiot who is driving people away from Christ because of his nonsensical cooperations with proud sinners of all sorts.
