However having used the sharty, I think we can all agree that the "goodness" of a thread only plays a partial role in that thread being popular and not being ignored. The attention meta matters more than the quality meta, and sometimes the attention meta promotes things that are not conductive to the community's health.
And, by the way, Soyteen Liker is fat and hairy (no offense to her, but it's the truth). When I think of her physical appearance, my first thought is Sandy from that episode of Spongebob where they're in the frozen dome. Who the hell would seriously be "thirsting" over her?

I remember the strawpage confession thread being filled with hornyposting about soyteen liker and other women on the website. I must've conflated that or assumed it as being a two way thing. Was it?
I can see where you come from, and I believe Liker should try and avoid these sort of traps when making her threads. They're usually unintentional, but it's still an invitation to talk about these sort of things, which can snowball into hundreds of messages that hurt the quality of the site. She did get banned once by Froot himself for making these sort of threads after all.
I don't know much about that thread but I'm rather certain they were joking when they were talking about "cuddling up" into Soyteen Liker's bear arms. Actually, knowing this site, I'm really unsure if they were or not. However, I don't believe the women were positively reciprocating those sorts of posts. From what I recall, Sodack was making jokes about being a lesbian and loving on Terry, and Soyteen Liker was simply unbothered, as usual.

Its all a blur to me but I vaugely recall very sexual porn addicted comments about some users, and oh, I remember. People making anonymous comments about having massive crushes on male users and the like. Looking back it was very likely to not be the female users but men larping as them, which kind of still contributes to the point in a roundabout way. Sex obsessed chudcels can't be trusted near any woman even online without getting obsessed with women and acting cringe af and derailing the website with their obsession
