Do you guys like classical horror stories?

I usually hate books but I love listening to stories like everything lovecraft wrote and similar antiquated stories that take place in antiquated times and go into autistic detail about everything.
The type of stories I like are the ones that are labeled as "classic horror" on this channel

I used to be obsessed with greentext horror stories btw, but I got over them when I realized wendigos were not real and these people were just making things up. This is the only channel I still look at because it does readings of old classical stories.
Anyone like the same kinds of stories I do?

for real i didnt grow up on the internet but i had friends who did and they would sometimes recount old/classic normie creepypasta and im pretty sure they would lie to me and say they were real because i was gullible and i was always terrified LOL

I like horror because it has mystery and to captialize on fear of the unknown, they sometimes come up with really cool interesting things like cosmic sleeping gods or alternate dimensions on top of our own. This is the rare good horror story tough. Most nowadays, especially on the internet, are bland and derivative predictable goyslop. Everyone wants to create but everyone is also too adhd riddled, no lifed, and trendbrained to make something creative and different.

A good theory as to why internet horror is goyslop now is because most people familiar enough to the internet to make horror stories to post there literally live on the internet and lack a variety of real world experience that is important and helpful in making a unique (or at least not the exact same as the current trend) fresh and interesting story.
